Leigh Therriault writes and wonders from Ottawa, Canada. She is a graduate of the creative writing program at the University of Toronto and the children’s book writing program at UC San Diego Extension. Her short fiction and poetry have appeared in various literary magazines, journals, and anthologies. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), the Canadian Authors Association, the Canadian Children’s Book Centre, and CANSCAIP. Her debut novel, A STRANGE PLACE FOR A GHOST is a middle-grade mystery forthcoming from Orca in September 2027.
She has two Bengal cats who (begrudgingly) oversee her author adventures.
