Hello, I’m Leigh!
I’m a writer and poet, born and raised in Canada’s Capital. A former dispatcher and creature of the night, now I’m up with the sun and work as an analyst. I enjoy writing short stories, poetry, MG novels, and YA fiction.
A lifelong learner, I returned to school in adulthood and earned an MSc in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility Analysis from Manchester Metropolitan University, in partnership with EmotionIntell. I also graduated with a BA in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, where I studied language, media, culture, and technology near a castle.
I’m still a kid at heart who loves mysteries, baked goods, and discovering the secrets of the universe. I live with my husband and son near an enchanted duck pond and enjoy watching the geese land at dusk.
