COBWEB CAKE

All Hazel wanted for Halloween was cobweb cake. It was pink and fluffy and made by sparkle spiders.

But she didn’t know any spiders at all, so Hazel donned her butterfly-ghost costume and headed out into the dusk with her family to go trick-or-treating.

After a wicked evening, they came upon the last house. The witch’s house.

Hazel wasn’t afraid because Ms. Ravencrest was nice and helped her bake potion pie sometimes.

She answered the door holding a big COBWEB CAKE!

Hazel’s mouth dropped open in surprise.

Ms. Ravencrest winked. “Let’s just say my roommates are quite sparkly.”

Thank you Maria! Potion pie is made from purely secret ingredients, so as to secure & maintain the MAGIC! 😉

Thanks so much Jean! Potion pie & cobweb cake are only served after a hearty main course of spider stew!! Muahaha

What a unique twist on these prompts – I’d never considered cobwebs or potions as food. Now I’m curious! Good luck in the contest!
